What a bin pickup adds up to

  • 3 bins: $45 per pickup
  • 5 bins: $75 per pickup
  • 8 bins: $105 per pickup

The volume rate only applies to bins after the first 5, so adding a bin never lowers your total.

Bins or a load: which fits your barn?

Bin service suits barns that clean stalls daily and want the waste gone on a routine: you set the bins out on your pickup day and we empty them. A 40-yard or 30-yard load suits barns with a manure pile or bunker to clear in one trip. Not sure? Tell us how many horses you have and how you store manure, and we will suggest the cheaper option, or estimate it yourself with our horse manure calculator.

Yards vs. tons, in plain language

We sell by volume: a bin, or a load measured in cubic yards. That is what you can see and count in your barn. Disposal sites charge by weight: they weigh the truck and bill by the ton. The two don't convert exactly, because weight depends on what the manure is bedded with and how wet it is.

Rule of thumb: shavings-bedded stall waste weighs about 600 lb per cubic yard (0.3 tons). At that rate a 40-yard load is roughly 12 tons and a 30-yard load roughly 9 tons.

Provisional, pending measurement. This figure comes from published references for shavings-bedded stall waste, not from weighing our own loads yet. Wet or straw-bedded waste weighs more.

What that means for you: our price is set by the bin or the load, so you don't need to estimate tons to know what you will pay.

Why we publish our prices

Most local manure haulers don't post prices online, so you have to call and wait for a quote. We would rather you know the number up front. The prices on this page are the same ones our online quote form uses.

Frequently asked questions

How much does horse manure removal cost in Wellington?

Bin pickup is $15 per 96-gallon bin for the first 5 bins and $10 for each bin after that, per pickup. Larger barns can book a 40-yard load for $350 or a 30-yard load for $300. These are the same prices our online quote form charges.

Do I have to buy or rent bins?

If you need bins from us, there is a one-time $100 drop-off fee. If you already have your own bins, there is no drop-off fee and you get $10 off your first pickup.

Is there a contract or minimum?

No minimum number of bins. You can book a one-time pickup or a 3, 6 or 12-month program, and the per-bin rate is the same on every option.

Why do you price by the yard when disposal sites charge by the ton?

We price by volume (bins and cubic-yard loads) because that is what you can see in your barn. Disposal sites weigh the truck and charge by the ton. As a rough guide, shavings-bedded stall waste weighs about 600 lb per cubic yard (0.3 tons). That figure is provisional, pending our own load measurements, and wet or straw-bedded waste weighs more.

Are you permitted to haul manure in Wellington?

Yes. My Horse Farm is a Village of Wellington permitted hauler, licensed and insured, and has served Palm Beach County barns since 2021.

How soon can you start?

We book you on the next crew day, with at least 24 hours’ notice.
